Acupressure Seated Massage is a great stress-busting treatment helping to release tension and minor aches and pains in your back, neck and shoulders, and leaving you alert and relaxed. This is a clothed massage given whilst you sit on a specially designed chair and is based on Anma, a traditional form of Japanese massage which originated in China at least 1500 years ago, and later became known as shiatsu. A full treatment (25 minutes) works over 60 acupressure points as well as specific trigger points and works to improve the flow of energy throughout the body and promote a sense of wellbeing. The basic treatment (10 minutes) works on tight upper back, neck and shoulders only. Both treatments are also available with hot lava shells which allows deep heat to penetrate stiff muscles helping to promote even deeper relaxation.
